I believe that this is technically a canoe form but the distinction becomes somewhat arbitrary. There are a few of these types of canoes around as shown at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?2412 for example. Harvey Bowley used to make canoes like this in Old Town so this may be one of his forms. His son was active in these forums for many years as Fitz mentioned at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?5329 in 2010. The price seems a bit optimistic.
