It might be an Old Town square stern model but many of the construction details are not typical. There were many other builders who built boats like this. A serial number would help as Dave suggested.

I have the same boat and I'm restoring for a trip in a few weeks. I bought it from the son of the original owner who bought it in 1947. He referred to it as an old town and there was the remnants of a sticker on the deck but I for the life of me can't find the serial number.. its not on the stem.. They are definitely nice boats!
