Hi,
Your canoe is a 17 foot CS grade (Common sense or middle grad) OTCA model with western red cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, seats and thwarts. It was equipped with a keel and painted design #6 with the letters LG on the right bow and left stern. It was built in 1923 - 24 and sold to Shawnee Supply in Plymouth, PA.
The scan of this record is attached below-- click on it to get a larger image. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
