The scanned records that the good folks here have stop at around 21000000, so you'll have to talk with the folks at Old Town Canoe to find out more.
The build record for the Old Town canoe with the serial number 30008 is attached. It is a 1914 16' Charles River Model.
If you are in fact looking for 300008, then Paul is indeed correct and you would need to contact Old Town to get the information.
It is also possible it is another manufacturer that used a similar serial numbering scheme.
