1974 Old Town 14' Chipewyan

My guess is that you have the Old Town canoe with serial number 198522. This is a 14 foot long Chipewyan model that weighed 56 pounds. It was built in December, 1973. The original exterior color was red. It shipped on January 28th, 1974 to Shrewsbury, Mass. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
