LOVES Wooden Canoes
The sixth THOMPSON ANTIQUE & CLASSIC BOAT RALLY is fast approacing. It takes place 8-10 August 2008 at Nestegg Marine in Marinette, WI. This is six miles from Peshtigo, WI - the original home base for Thompson Boat.
Thompson started out in 1904 making wooden canoes.
The Rally is open to ANY and ALL antique & classic boats. It, naturally, focuses upon Thompson and all her related spin-offs, including but not limited to: Cruisers, Inc.; T & T Boats, Inc.; Thompson Boat Company of New York, Inc.; Thompson Royal-Craft, Inc.; Thomspon Boat Company of New York, Inc. - a wholly owned subsidiary of Chris-Craft; Grady White Boats; Thomspon Skis (water skis), etc...
The Rally is non-judged and there are no awards. It is a great time for fun, networking, learning, going for boat rides, eating brats and drinking beer, etc...
There is a fee to display a boat or canoe. The Rally is free and open to the public.
