stretching canvas

I am doing my first canvas job and wanted to use the method of bracing down from the ceiling. I wanted to come up with a stable way to push the canoe down into the canvas when I remembered I had a couple of old bumper jacks. I added a couple pieces of PVC pipe and was happy with the results. Lightweight and easily adjustable.

Really great looking wall rack with the plastic boat, never thought of using pipe and fittings. Jacks look good too.
