I have the digital copy of the original build papers on my 1913 and 1923 Old Town canoes. I do not see a place to indicate if either had the sailing option. Was this an add-on? Or would it indicate this on the build paper from the factory? If so, what would it look like on the paper?

If the sailing rig parts were installed at the factory, it would be indicated on the build sheets. But the rig could be added any time, including at the retailer.

Sail rigs were frequently added after canoes left the factory as Paul mentioned.
