I have a recently restored 18 foot 1968 Otca sailing canoe with all of the equipment (tiller, leeboards and leeboard thwart and a lanteen sail) except for the mast.
Can someone tell me where I can find out how to set up the canoe for sailing? It does not have any blocks or lines other than one attached to the tiller.
I would also like to know where I can buy a mast for the lanteen sail.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You can find lots of sailing canoe information at and if you want to build your own mast and rig. Many of the canoe builders and restorers listed at and would be willing to build a mast or rig your canoe for you. Canoe sailing rigs also show up occasionally in the WCHA classifieds at and on although you may need to buy a whole canoe to get one. Feel free to reply here if this information doesn't answer your questions.
