If you have not received Wooden Canoe, Spring 2020

WCHA members throughout the US have experienced a significant delay in receiving the newest issue of the journal, Wooden Canoe, perhaps because of Postal Service issues arising from the pandemic and/or societal unrest.

If you have not received your Spring 2020 issue of Wooden Canoe (cover photo is a silhouetted paddler at dawn; see attached image), please contact the WCHA’s Executive Director, Annie Burke, so that we can get a copy out to you, and to help assess the current status of this mailing.

Only a fraction of our membership reads these forums, so we are attempting to contact members by other means as well. If possible, please reach out to your friends and colleagues, and ask them to respond if they haven’t yet received their copy.

UPDATE: Members continue to report that their journals are arriving in the mail, even today. Still nothing in my mailbox, but they do seem to be getting to people eventually. I was very interested to learn that another publication in our world of small boats, one that was mailed about the same time, has experienced the same kind of lengthy delays in delivery.
