My first post so let me know if I'm breaking the rules. I was given an old paddle, and the label is just worn enough that I can't quite make out the name of the manufacturer. I have attached, or think I have attached a couple of photos… 2013-12-13 21.05.20.jpg2013-12-13 21.05.57.jpg2013-12-13 21.33.47.jpg

The community is St-Elie de Caxton, Que. (Quebec).
For the name I can make out only "N. GUILLEM....". A search with that partial surname and a wildcard shows that Guillemette is a surname that pops up a few times, historically and recently, in St-Elie de Caxton.
There are apparently many summer cottages there. I wonder if it is an owner's sticker rather and a manufacturer's.

That makes sense, and the odd placement supports this. I think you are correct. It's not really a sticker though. It looks like the acetate decals that came with model kits when I was a kid. The ones you dipped in water to lift from the sheet, and then placed. That's what lead me to believe it was a label. Thanks.
