deep throat spring clamps

Build your own and never have too few clamps again.

The small spring around the threaded bolt holds the clamp jaws open. The larger spring puts pressure on the jaws against the workpiece until the wood toggle at the end is positioned and the thumb screw tightens the clamp. Setting the center bolt to the right tolerance makes it easy and quick to set the clamp and increase the pressure.
