Speaking of decals, the new water slide Old Towns are great. Before the web site crash, someone posted about the delicate nature of water slides. I remember playing with them as a kid, but since that's been a few years, I was a little nervous the first time I used a new Old Town decal- tearing, folding, etc. Anyway, I thought that if the surface it was applied to was good and wet, I'd have more play and less frustration. I wet it good with water from my finger, slid the decal onto the deck, and had plenty of wiggle room and time with no chance of damage. Decal just slid around on the base of water. I've since applied several more to all the Old Towns I've restored in the last few months, and all have gone on with no trouble. Hope this alleviates some of the fear others may have.
