A Few More Assembly Photos

Great pictures...I wish I could have been there.

Who is weaving the snowshoes? He has material that I have been looking for. I have some frames ready to go and no urethane. I would love to find out what he is using and where he gets it....

Mike, this fellow http://www.cooscanoeandsnowshoe.com/ he was set up next to me, and wove a pair for my youngest. Deerhide top and bottom, and cowhide in the middle. Preps the deer hides he buys from hunters he said. Nice guy! Another few weeks and i'll varnish them

Thanks Andre,
Thanks Ciff,

Hm...I'm not keen on using hide so I'll keep looking for neoprene. My Vermont Tubbs supply ran out halfway through a pair of shoes.
I do like hide shoes and have several pair. I also have lot's of deer hides but zero interest in fussing around with them.

He is making nice shoes! I hope your daughter likes them.

No Hide? Heretic! Here's a nice Morris with some practical handles, you might consider adding to your restoration when you get around to it - knowing your love of oversided deck fittings..;);)
