Giving up on a 17.5 foot square stern with sponsons.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but it is a nice boat and might be a fun project for someone.

The boat is FREE and located near Bangor Maine. I have removed all of the fiberglass from the hull. The sponsons are off in okay shape, but still have fiberglass on them, and will need some wood work. I replaced a few boards on the bottom, but there are more that you may choose to replace line.

I was told it was an Old Town and it does look like the pictures I have seen of the OT model, but the serial number was hard to read so I am not positive.

To make the project a bit easier, its not necessary to put the sponsons back on. the boat would be perfectly fine without them. Maybe it wouldn't be "original" but it appears this boat lost that title a long time ago.

Thanks for the ideas. I am hoping to find someone else to take on the project. I have a bathroom and kitchen to finish and need the limited work space back. I will pass on the ideas.
