W/C canoe bouyancy?

LOVES Wooden Canoes
I am wondering what the bouyancy is of a swamped w/c canoe. In my case it would be a 15' Bastien solo boat. This is to be my solo tripping boat and there is always the possibility of getting the painted side up and although wood does float and it is mostly wood does anyone have any experience with this situation?

My gear will be tethered, not tied in, everything floats, so nothing to drag the boat down.

Thanks
Karin

Yup....loads of fun. Don't lose track of your paddles and swim it to shore. They float albeit not too far out of the water.
I love the dry bags we use now. Back in the day a dunk was much bigger problem.
Hopefully you won't go in, but it can happen.
