Two Haskell canoes

"Tiger Rag" back on the tidal Potomac

Last week I stopped at Schoolhouse Antiques, 3 miles north of Scottville, Michigan, and inside found two Haskell canoes hanging. One hanging up so high I could not get a good look appeared to be 95% in good shape but may have a layer of clear fiberglass on it. This one has a seat back and two Haskell paddles with it. The second had been out in the weather so the exterior surface is weathered, and there is a one square foot piece of sheet metal on the starboard, about the middle, so must be damaged underneath. This one also appears to be 95% complete. The building is for sale and the owner wants to clear out everything, but also says he wants out of these canoes what he has in them, $3500 for the first, $1000 for the second. So if you just HAVE to have a Haskell in your stable, contact Don Renwick @ 231-757-9364. Just passing this information along. I have not interest financial or otherwise in these canoes.
