Most Old Town canoes don't have letters in their serial numbers and a number that high would be from the late 1990s based on the chart at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/oldtown_chart.html with some extrapolation. The serial numbers in Penn Yan canoes often start with letters as described at http://dragonflycanoe.com/id/pennyan.html but there is no record of them using LR as a prefix. You may have a Coast Guard hull identification number although these usually start with three letters. More information about their numbers can be found at http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.htm but you are a bit short for their twelve digit format. If the first three characters are really LRB then you may have something from the Little River Boat Company as described at http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_detail.aspx?id=LRB for more information.
