Curious about Wooden Canoes
Hello every one I just got back from picking up my new old canoe. I have finally found the one I was hoping for not to much woodworking every thing Is Intact It was tucked away and kept dry for thirty years It needs canvasing and paint I don't know if I will touch the varnish.It Is a 1938 OT 18" ft AA model that was the subject of a serial # search 125536 18 It looks great.I will post more, time for sleep It was a 1400 mile round trip In 48 hours WHO POSSESSED! not meeee!
