Paint scheme #23

Curious about Wooden Canoes
I am restoring a 1937 AA Otca with paint scheme #23 can any one help me out with exact drawing size on what the gold leaf was. Thanks Dan

The Old Town design number 23 as shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design23.gif is essentially a brown and tan version of their design number 45. This is shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design45.gif with the stripe specified as a half inch. The leaf on the end is intended to be an oak style. The pictures at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?9357&p=49650#post49650 show a leaf on a Molitor model in green that was done at the factory in 1981 with a ruler for scale. These were all done by hand so each leaf is slightly different. Let me know if this doesn't answer your question.
