Hello all,
Glad to see the site back. I asked for this build record before (and got it), but things went haywire before I downloaded the attachment. Can you post it again? (or maybe its lurking in the archives, though I couldn't find it.)

Many thanks,
Don in Vermont

The Old Town canoe with serial number 250222 is a 16 foot long, CS grade, Yankee model with white Maine cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, and a keel. It was built between January and May, 1948. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on June 2nd, 1948 to Granville, New York. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.

This scan was created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. I hope that you will join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See http://www.wcha.org/ to learn more about the WCHA and http://www.wcha.org/join.php to join or renew.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.

Thank you

Benson,
Thanks for your quick reply. This time I'll also be quick in capturing the information! Best of luck with rebuilding the website.
Best,
