I was contacted by one of the organizers of this event. They would love to see more wooden canoes. It is a celebration of Oquossoc on Rangeley Lake, in Oquossoc, Maine.

Oquossoc Day, August 21, 2010. Sailing Races will be at noon, a Parade/Paddle by at 1PM, and Sink the Bismarck at 2PM. There is a lawn area to show your craft. Displays should be set up by 10 AM in the morning.
I'm planning on going and will likely have a sailing canoe and a Guide canoe to paddle and chat about. I would love to have the company of other members to help promote the WCHA.
