Michigan Canoe Nut
First of all, thanks Steve Lapey. I have been a WCHA member since early 1982 and 41 years later, I have finally acquired some higher quality canoes. It took a while but after all, these canoes are only ours for a way short amount of time. Steve allowed me to buy the earliest known example of an Evan Gerrish wood and canvas canoe. This, my friends, is only the beginning to what this canoe will present to us in our mission to preserve these amazing functional works of art. Stay tuned, this is just the start. I am only a vehicle to getting the word out.

That looks incredibly in tact and original. Has Steve shared the known history of the boat?
