Old Town Models

Is there or has anyone made a chart of all the different Old Town models, lengths, widths, hull shape, rocker etc. The Audette book does not have anything other than reprints of a few catalogs with minimal information.

I should also have asked when various models were discontinued and why the "Molito"r is not listed anywhere.

Old Town actually had many models which were never advertised in the catalogs over the years including the early Molitor, XX, MC, Sail Sled, wooden Ojibway, Weldwood, and others. It is not clear why they had some models which were not advertised. The later Molitor first appeared on the cover of the 1965 catalog as shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/covers/large-65.gif and has been in their catalogs ever since. The messages at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?t=2656 have some more Molitor information.

Dan Miller put together some excellent graphs that show the dates when various models were listed in the catalogs as part of the Old Town Canoe Company catalog CD. This is available at http://www.dragonflycanoe.com/cdrom.htm or in the WCHA store. There is also some information at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/models.html which documents when the more popular models were available.
