Old Town #, blue

my bro-in-law, who knows little about boats, has 2 Old Town canoes that his fa-in-law restored. He has asked me to help sell them. please, can anyone provide info on a boat w/ @ 176593 17. Both boats are in Holland MI.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 176593 is 17 foot long Molitor model with rub rails, a keel, outside stems, and a floor rack. It was built between July, 1966 and June, 1967. The original exterior paint color similar to the image at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design45.gif which was known as the design number 45. It shipped on June 21st, 1967 to Canandaigua, New York. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the thumbnail image attached below.

This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well.
