Old Town #159911 - 18

The Old Town canoe with serial number 159911 is an 18 foot long, CS (Common Sense) grade, Otca model with a keel. It was built between April and June, 1953. The original exterior paint color was dark red. It was shipped on June 11th, 1953 to the Winona Camps near Portland, Maine. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
These scans were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well.
