oiling the planking

Anyone know how a Product called CWF - clear wood finish by Flood Company, would do for oiling the cedar planking.?? It is formulated for cedar siding fences, and cedar shakes. I'm thinking of trying it as it has worked well for me on my cedar siding. I would also like to find an alternative to the heavy filler that everyone seems to use??? Thanks Jim

I was very disapointed with that product when I used it on my cedar deck. It discolored quickly and allowed mold to form. I'm not sure how it would perform on a canoe?
