My Chum is too fat

I aquired a 15' Chestnut canoe that I thought was a Chum. It has 2 3/8" wide ribs spaced about 1 1/2" apart. The beam measures more than 36".
I considered a Bobs Special but it weigh 62 pounds. I got it from the original owner who bought new it in the late 60s/early 70s. It paddles great.
Any idea what it is?

Most likely a Bob's... the weights in listed in Chestnut catalogs were always a bit optimistic...
