Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
A friend of mine picked this canoe last weekend in NH. I could not find a SN. The ribs are not tapered. Rear thwart is about 6" the bow is about 4 wide. It's 17 foot long. In very good shape.

Thanks
Vern

not sure I can help, but...

Hi Vern,

Looks like an interesting canoe, but may be hard to ID past being from a Charles River builder. All those I’ve seen have a serial number on the stem. Can’t tell much from those, but interesting that this one doesn’t have it.

Thwart shape is a clue, but the 6” is like most my Charles River builders canoes. The thin one is not like my Kingsbury, Walthams, Robertsons or Arnolds that I have. So not sure what to make of it.

Sorry to not be much help and will watch other replys with interest.
Ken
