Kiln dried inwales?

Jerry Fruetel

A well built wooden canoe is a work of art
I know air dried wood steam-bends better than kiln dried. However, my inwales will need only modest bending, without steam. Kiln dried sitka spruce is available locally.

I'd like to use the kiln dried sitka, because air dried sitka is hard to find and expensive to ship to me in Minnesota.

What do you think--- would it be a mistake to use kiln dried sitka for inwales?

I've used kild dried sitka spruce on inwales before and never had any problems with them. Some are more tham 30 years old at this point and still doing fine.
