epifanes monofil primer

Has anyone used this? The Hamilton Marine site said it could be used as a filler on canoe canvas. I just want to use it as a primer to cover the imperfections on my filler job. I assume if it is made by Epifanes, it is a good product. Thanks in advance to those who respond.... Cheers, Mike.........

I'm sorry I have not used it before BUT I have used other primers and it IS a good thing. I'd not hesitate using it.

it's thick like a paste. I have some, but have not tried it.

Since I use a latex rubberized filler that is not readily sandable, I use PreKote as a primer before paint. Three coats can be sanded quite smooth before the high gloss paints. As long as the product is compatible with your paint, I recommend high build primers.
