Can someone please be of some help with identification ? I have acquired.. was told to me a 1904 Waltham . Numbers on both ends of stem 304 016. It is 16ft., has a molitor look to the hull. Was there a model name, catalog? Can supply a pic. If I can figure out how. Lol

There are no known Waltham serial number records so the numbers can't be used to help identify your canoe. There are two Waltham catalogs in the collection available at http://store.wcha.org/The-Historic-...pany-Catalog-Collection-Version-2-CD-ROM.html but extended stems like the Old Town Molitor model are not shown or mentioned in either one. Dan's guide at http://dragonflycanoe.com/wood-canoe-identification-guide/ may help you identify your canoe from other characteristics. You can also search these forums to find lots of pictures and additional information about Waltham and the other Charles River area builders. Please post your pictures here so others can offer their opinions.
