can anyone identify this boat?

A friend of mine found this boat in a house he bought and wants to sell it. What would you call it if you were writing an ad? It's 16' x 4', no manufacturers plate.

Is there anyway to confirm that it's an oldtown?

An Old Town would have a serial number that we could look up. Look on the transom edge and on the bracket.
