A&F canoes

I'm looking at buying a canoe that was originally sold at Abercrombie & Fitch. Did all A&F canoes get one of the A&F brass tags? I'm wanting to put one on the canoe if so and am wondering how hard they are to find or if someone out there has one

My guess is that they are hard to find, but not impossible. A&F carried canoes by several builders, and as some of those canoes went back into the ground, people removed the hardware and you may see it on eBay-- although I can't specifically recall seeing an A&F medallion. This is a good place to post your request, however, as someone may remember seeing one offered for sale. You may find yourself waiting a while. Maybe posting in the classifieds under "wanted" would be a good idea.
