The Old Town canoe with serial number 146897 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Otca model with Eastern white Maine cedar plankig, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany slat seats, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between November, 1946 and January, 1947. The original exterior paint color was light Yale blue. It shipped on February 12th, 1947 to Bay City, Michigan.
