Can you give me some info on an Old Town canoe with a serial number of 166565 16? Thanks
old town canoe needs a history!

The Old Town canoe with serial number 166565 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with a keel. It was built between September and December, 1957. The original exterior paint color was dark red. It shipped on July 29th, 1958 to Concord, New Hampshire. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
