Winter project

"Just one more"
During my winter break from work, I decided to finally get to the 13ft Old Town that has been passed over for restoration to many times. After I got started I realized why; it needed inner and outer gunwales, both decks, new seats, floor rack, a dozen ribs ( all in the center ), plenty of dry, broken planking and a new keel. Once I had put in all that work into it and having some extra time, I decided to try out a different paint scheme and logo based on our family name. In the end it will be a nice little canoe for my daughter ( the painter ).

You are inspiring me. I have a 13' 50 Pounder as well, but with squirrel gnawed stems, decks, rails, and ribs. Maybe someday...
