    Does anyone know whether there will be a gathering of guideboats anywhere this year? Not finding anything on the William Hanmer Race that has been sponsored in the past. Would love to join the event with my newly restored guideboat.

    Looks like the Saranac Chamber of Commerce, former organizers of the event, has gone out of business. Hoping maybe some other group picks up the event.

    Does an ADK guideboat "group" or association exist anywhere out there? Glad that the WCHA has included them under their umbrella as an extension of the canoe family.

    I quick Google search shows that there is apparently not a club or organisation.
    There are several commercial builder sites, and this dedicated blog;

    And, as previously mentioned, the ADK Museum (now known as ADK Experience)

    There is an Adirondack Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, but that org tends to lean towards power boats. https://acbs.org/adirondack-chapter/

    Any contact information for Chris Woodward would be helpful.
