Boat-like

I don't know what it is, bark or other, but the lines remind me of a boat/canoe my dad found. It was reportedly built up around Grand Lake Stream, by a game warden in the 1940's and is about 15 ft long, more boat than canoe, and very heavy. Maybe there was a breed of boat in maritime Canada where the warden got his inspiration. I don't have a photo handy, but I will attach one later.

My guess is canvas since the style of construction is not like most bark canoes. The rails don't extend past the stems, the thwarts appear to have no shape, etc.

Looks to me like a picture of a canoe-like boat.
Frame it and sell it on e-bay. The picture that is.
