What model Chestnut is this?

My 17' Chestnut meets all the specs in the chart in the 1973 catalog with the exception of the of the depth of the bow and stern-24 1/2". Mine measures less than-23". Over the years did the Cronje bow and stern measurements change? Thanks, R.C.

The easiest way to diagnose the Cruiser models (the Cronje is the 17' model) is by their narrow decks. If your canoe has those, then it's a Cruiser. Depending on how it has been used or repaired, it's possible the measurements have changed from it was originally manufactured.
