Unknown Canoe on Ebay

I'm wondering if anyone has an idea what this boat is. I cannot find a serial number on the stems. I went to see this boat, decided it was more work than I wanted to do (needs canvas and has numerous fiberglass spot repairs etc.) and then i brought it home anyway. Now listed on Ebay at $300. Please let me know if anyone has an idea of the origin of this 18' canoe.

I don't have any good ideas but,

did you get it from a guy named John?

I knew a guy that lived out there who had/has 2-3 W/C that he is/was trying to sell.
