Could we see a photo of the finished patched deck insert?

Ken has responded saying "I don’t have a great photo of that repair…but here it is, to the left of the flag socket. The replacement wood is darker than the original."

Thanks Ken. Beautiful job! Great to save the original decking.

ALL BLUES: A pretty blue 1922 Old Town Otca is sail rigged and ready to go on Lower St. Regis Lake at the WCHA Assembly at Paul Smith’s College in New York’s Adirondack Park. All restoration work was completed in 2020 by owner Don Kerr. #wcha #wchaorg #canoe #woodencanoeheritageassociation #woodencanoe #wchaassembly #oldtowncanoe #paulsmiths #adirondacks #stregislake

Which way now?: Nat Goldberg at Getchell Lake in Maine. Sam Goldberg and his brother had to resort to pulling their canoe through the Getchell Lakes in 2013. They were recreating trips they had done as campers at Darrow Camp. Photo by Sam Goldberg. #wcha #wchaorg #canoe #woodencanoeheritageassociation #woodencanoe #darrowcamp #getchelllake

    A Unique Perspective: Betsy Wilson captured this photo of Susan Christie paddling her lapstrake canoe during the 2011 Annual Assembly Paddle-By. #wcha #wchaorg #canoe #woodencanoeheritageassociation #woodencanoe #wchaassembly #lapstrakecanoe #paulsmiths #adirondacks #stregislake
