PENNY CANDY COVE: WCHA member Ken Irving and his family like to spend time at this special spot on Harts Pond, which is found in Down East Maine. Here his daughter Willow Lila takes a nap in the family’s Walter Walker canoe while their dog Kuujjua (named after a river on Victoria Island in Canada’s high Arctic) looks on. #wcha #wchaorg #canoe #woodencanoeheritageassociation #woodencanoe #hartspond #walterwalkercanoe

Mike Davidson and Ginger Fortier thought they might someday enjoy canoeing and discovered this 1928 Old Town disguised in scruffy red paint and dust in an Oregon wagon and carriage shop. Here it is on the water at the Northwest Chapter’s Fall Meet. Photo by Mike Livdahl. #wcha #wchaorg #canoe #woodencanoeheritageassociation #woodencanoe #mikelivdahl #oldtowncanoe
