Morris build dates are estimated based upon a few known build/ship/purchase dates, some research and some assumptions based upon those pieces of information. Rather than pretend that this is definitively a 1915 canoe it's probably better to refer to it as circa 1915. Perhaps some day we will find the Morris Rosetta stone and learn that I have this whole dating thing completely hosed up...until then, here is the chart and some related information. Kathie's book that is sold on this site might be of interest to you. Post pictures if you feel like sharing.
