Directions/Access: From North or South on Hwy. I-5, at Olympia take Exit 104 onto Hwy. 8 and 101 heading for Shelton. Take first exit in Shelton onto Hwy 3 (Bremerton) and follow for 1-2 miles to first stoplight. Turn left at stop light onto Acadia Rd. Follow Acadia and turn left onto Lake Boulevard (which becomes Cloquallum Rd.) for about 9 miles. Turn right onto West Lost Lake Road for about 1.5 miles to Camp Bishop at road end. (Mapquest and Google maps apparently are both wrong). Look for small orange canoe signs posted at turns!
Cost: $5 per person per night for lodging/tent or RV space; $5 Salmon dinner on Saturday (or substitute if not available, either way, it will be good!) Bring salads, veggies, or desserts as dinner contribution and PLEASE RSVP to Scott Christianson if coming for Saturday dinner so we can estimate numbers: dscottchristianson@gmail.com
Accommodations. Space for Tents or RV parking, cabins, 8 dorm style rooms and showers in conference center. Full kitchen/ dining area available. (see Camp Bishop brochure pdf attached for more detail)

Remember to bring: Tent or RV, or bedding for lodge room or cabin, food for yourself and contribution for Saturday dinner: Vegetables, salad, or dessert; Firewood (wood donations accepted from members coming from US); auction donation
Program:
Friday: Noon: registration, pick up name tags, set up camp or claim your rooms, paddle the lake in your canoe and/or the club raffle canoe (a nice blue Peterborogh), buy raffle tickets-lots of tickets!
Meet and greet each other-please wear name tags-thanks
Have your dinner, then…
7:00 pm Chris Cooper…professional guide, explorer, and photographer will speak about his adventures up and down the BC and Alaska coast in various canoes. He may throw in the Shetland Islands in the UK as well!
Later let's get the campfire going to continue with stories and/or singing
Saturday: 7:00 am Dawn Patrol
8:00am Breakfast: rolls and coffee in the kitchen
9:00am Introduce your canoe (please fill out form with canoe history when you register to be displayed with canoe)
10:00am Restored Old Town War Canoe introduction and history by Vern Heikkila
10:30am Launching of War Canoe and paddling with instruction for big canoes-FUN!
11:00am Canoe parade-ALL available canoes and canoeists
12:00pm Lunch on your own or share if you'd like to
1:30pm Mystery Canoe Activity
5:00pm Dinner crew: fire up the barbeque
6:00pm Salmon dinner with shared salads, vegetables, and desserts
7:30pm Famous Canoe Club Auction: Bring your good stuff! And, we will continue the Great Canoe Raffle for the donated Peterborough canoe!
Sunday:
7:00am Dawn Patrol
8:00am Breakfast-any leftover desserts/rolls/buns and coffee/hot chocolate
9:00am Board Meeting-everyone welcome…Clean-up of camp
