I have been rebuilding a 16' OldTown OTCA AA Grade sporadically since last fall. Finished it last Thursday and took it to a local wooden boat show on Saturday. I had decided that it was too heavy for me to use regularly as I paddle solo almost exclusively. In less than an hour I had a decent offer and in less than 2 hours we had an agreed price and I delivered it to the new owner at 4:00 that afternoon. Never even got it in the water. I now have seed money for the next project. Possibly a new solo in the 40# range?
