    Hello Forum-

Bought a ca: 1930 Canadian Canoe Co. cedar strip sailing canoe at assembly this year. I am refinishing it and have ordered a decal from WCHA store. My puzzle is that the shield shaped "shadow" of a previous logo appears on the aft deck, not on the forward deck. There is a mast step hole in the forward deck not at the corresponding location. Does anyone know if Canadian Canoe Co. customarily used the rear deck for the logo?

I've been helping another member fix up an early Peterborough 604 that had the decal on the stern deck.

Thank you, Fred. It appears that it was not that uncommon.
