Hello From Alfred, Maine

I have been registered here as Leyland Auto back about five years ago when I was redoing my Grandfather's 1928 Old Town Charles River. Back again as I have been given what was described as a 24 Old Town.

 

I do not believe it is an Old Town however as the decks are plain and I am as yet unable to locate any production number. I believe it may be home made as I find a name carved into it where you would find the number. It has the surname of "York" with what looks like the initial V before it. I am bringing it home Sunday and get it into better light.
