Can I Get Build Record For 77681 Please?

The Old Town with serial number 77681 is a 16 foot long double end boat model in CS (Common Sense or the middle) grade with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, birch seats, a rudder, rowlocks, and a painter ring. It was built between April and June, 1923. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on June 8th, 1923 to Malone, New York. A scan showing this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.

This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details. I hope that you will join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See http://www.wcha.org/about-wcha to learn more about the WCHA and http://www.wcha.org/store/membership to renew.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your boat. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. It would be helpful if you could provide the length, some pictures, and other details if the serial number isn't clear. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions. Thanks,

So, we picked this canoe up this weekend.

It had the name "Little One" in Gold on the Boy as well as scroll work. Has a full length Bang plate, Outside Stems, Bilge Keels, The wood is in excellent condition. Bow deck is 30 inches, Stern deck in 20 inches. Everything looks all original. I'll try to post up some pics soon.
