I remember it but never used any. My recollection is that the canvas sealer/tightener was a traditional airplane dope.

I've acquired a few cans with canoes that were meant to be restored many years ago and never were.

The cans are stored upside down to have the liquid contents seal them from air intrusion. Paints and similar products last much longer when stored this way. It especial true after the can has been opened.

I have 5-7 cans of the same canvas filler somewhere in my garage-anyone want them?

pretty sure Dave is referring to the forum flipping the picture when he uploads. Either that or he has the stickiest undersides on his shelves ever

You are correct Andre. The photos were right-side up when I selected them, but they uploaded upside down.

Niles is probably correct on storing paint upside down.
